Iron Work Manufacturing

Iron Work Manufacturing and may seem like synonymous or interchangeable terms, but they are not. Each requires a unique set of skills, materials and equipment. The similarity is that both are metal fabrication techniques and involve a variety of metals and machinery. Fabricating a metal involves cutting, bending, rolling, deburring, sawing, etc. to give it a particular shape and size for use in the assembly of a component. It is therefore more functional in nature. Blacksmithing includes the manufacture of railings, bridges, bank vaults and other iron constructions. It is therefore more structural in nature. Whether it is sheet metal fabrication or hardware fabrication, it is essential to have the right type of tools and equipment to add precision and increase speed and efficiency.
